Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the VOLO Finance mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Version scope: These terms apply to all versions of the App. Provisions concerning iCloud Backups apply only to version 1.1.0 and later, in which the feature is available, and only to the extent that you use it. Versions 1.0.x use on-device storage and JSON file export/import only.

1. Purpose of the App

VOLO Finance is a tool designed solely for investment tracking. The App allows you to view the current value of assets in your portfolio, record your buy and sell transactions, and monitor your profit/loss status.

VOLO Finance does not provide investment advisory services. No data, information, or calculation displayed within the App shall be construed as investment advice, financial consulting, or a buy/sell recommendation. Your investment decisions are entirely your own responsibility.

2. Data Sources and Third-Party Services

The App relies entirely on third-party API services for price data and market information. In this regard:

The App does not store or generate any market data on its own.
Displayed prices are obtained from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
If third-party API providers discontinue, restrict, or modify their services, the App's ability to display price data may be partially or fully disabled. This constitutes a service interruption and is not the responsibility of the developer.
The developer does not guarantee the continuity, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.

3. Data Storage and Backups

Your portfolios, asset and transaction records, archive, watchlist, portfolio notification rules, and app settings are primarily stored locally on your device.

Version 1.1.0 and later provide an optional iCloud Backups feature:

Automatic backup is off by default. You may create a manual backup or enable automatic backup.
Backups are stored through Apple CloudKit in the private database of your personal iCloud account and may use your iCloud storage quota.
A new backup created on the same day replaces that day's unlocked backup. Up to five daily backups are retained, and up to three may be locked to protect them from automatic deletion.
Restoring a backup may overwrite current local data. The App asks for confirmation before restoring.
Disabling automatic backup or uninstalling the App does not automatically delete existing iCloud backups. You can delete them from Settings > Data > iCloud Backups within the App.

In every version, you may export your data as a JSON file and import it later. We recommend keeping a current JSON backup as an additional precaution against data loss. You are responsible for checking that your backups remain current and accessible.

4. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties.
The developer shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
The developer is not responsible for any financial losses that may result from investment decisions made based on the data displayed in the App.
The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted backup or data recovery and is not responsible for backup delays, failures, restore issues, or data loss caused by iCloud, CloudKit, internet connectivity, or device conditions.
The App may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the design, source code, graphic elements, and content of the App belong to the developer. No part of the App may be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written permission.

6. User Obligations

By using the App, you agree to comply with the following rules:

Use the App solely for personal, non-commercial investment tracking purposes.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or make unauthorized modifications to the App.
Not use the App for unlawful purposes or in a manner that violates applicable laws and regulations.

7. Changes

The developer reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts of the Republic of Turkey shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms.
